I love the layering of the clouds on this Rainbow Builder & Waterfront Umbrella Stampin Up 2018 Occasions Catalog card! Although the stamp set did not “speak to me” the framelits definitely did. It’s important to remember that while one part of a bundle may not be your style another part may! Have fun and think outside the box!

This Lots of Lavender Wreath card is from the 2018 Sale A Bration release and it is super fun to use and incredibly versatile. I chose to make a sympathy card with the wreath, but it could have easily been a Mothers Day, a birthday, or any number of occasions!
I love the quick and easy wreath idea for a card. Start with an A2 card base cut at 11″ x 4.25″, score and fold in half at 5.5″. The Plum layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″, and the vanilla layer is cut at 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″. Use temporary adhesive to attach the scallop circle mask for the center of the wreath.
Please see the Lots of Lavender Wreath card video tutorial for details:
Stampin’ Up! Sharing Sweet Thoughts is the perfect name for this stamp set and for creating this sweet card. This was another color challenge, and boy was this one challenging!
This sweet card is really quick and easy, the hardest part is die cutting the squares, and if you happen to have an old 1 3/8″ square punch laying around just use that. However, I do have to say the layering squares framelits is a must have for your craft stash!
Start with an A2 card base cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score and fold in half at 5.5″. Add a whisper White cardstock layer cut at 5.25″ x 4″, and a second Night of Navy cardstock layer cut at 5″ x 3.75″. Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink, the branches in Old Olive ink, and the butterflies and ladybug in Momento Black. Color using the Many Marvelous Markers by Stampin up! (Hint: Click on the marker photo link in the supply list below to learn more!)
This Stampin’ Up! Artistically Asian Sponged card was so fun! I love the look of sponging, and using the Timeless Textures stamp is a perfect “water look” for the base of this card . This weeks color challenge used Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Soft Sky, Real Red and Basic Black.
I started with an A2 card base cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score and fold at 5.5″. The Real Red layer is 5.25″ x 4″. And the White sponged layer is 4 1/8″ x 3 7/8″. The video shows the details on how to do the stamping off and the sponging technique. Remember to make your envelope pretty!
This Stampin’Up! Bella & Friends Balloon and Puppy card was super quick & easy to make! This happened to be from a color challenge, which I love doing!
Start with a base of So Saffron cut at 4.25″ x 11″, score and fold at 5.5″. Next, cut a layer of Soft Suede at 5.25″ x 4″. Add a layer of DSP and a small layer of white! I used blender pens to color in the puppy, balloon, and bird picking up ink from the lids of the pads ( the squeezie technique). Stamp the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and layer it on a strip of soft suede.
The picture doesn’t show, but I added pearls to each end of the sentiment. Remember to make your envelope pretty!
Stampin’Up! Sprinkles of Life Up & Away Balloon card
This cute Stampin’Up! Sprinkles of Life Up & Away Balloon card is actually quick and easy to create. Just one run with the Bigshot die cut machine!
The whole background is a sheet of Succulent Garden DSP (but you can use any coordinating paper!) Punch two silver foil paper clouds and punch with the Tree Builder punch. Stamp two clouds in smokey slate ink and punch these.
You can run the hot air balloon from the Up & Away thinlets in Bermuda Bay at the same time you run the three white backing pieces! Attach the white pieces to the back of the balloon. This gives a spot to hide the pop up dimensionals!
Attach the white ribbon, and make a looped bunch of silver thread. Attach with a knot.
Stamp your sentiment and flag the ends. Remember to make the envelope pretty!
